Watershed Public Theatre is Maury County’s professional theatre company located in Columbia, Tennessee. We support artists and growth of the local arts community by providing theatre training and employment opportunities to artists located in and around Maury County. Since December 2016, our full-stage productions and events have provided temporary employment for more than 100 artists while serving thousands of audiences in Middle Tennessee.

At Watershed Public Theatre, we believe that theatre is the ultimate collaborative art and work to bring together arts professionals, volunteers, students and patrons to share in the illumination that only live performance can provide. We maintain our focus on nurturing community and practicing social and environmental responsibility while striving for the highest quality of artistic and educational experiences.

Watershed Company
The Watershed Company is a cohort of artists who contribute regularly to Watershed Public Theatre programming. The Watershed Company provides valuable artistic representation and input, not only on productions, but throughout all WPT operations, including governance, planning, marketing and fundraising.
