Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill

Feb 28 & 29 @ Mt. Pleasant Grille

Experience one of legendary jazz singer Billie Holiday’s final performances, given in 1959 at Emerson’s Bar & Grill in Philadelphia. More than a dozen musical numbers are laced with salty, often humorous reminiscences resulting in a riveting portrait of the lady and her music. Rated PG-13 for language and mature themes.
