Favorite storybook characters’ tales are intertwined in this Tony-Award winning musical that warns “Be careful what you wish for.” Cinderella pines to go to the king’s festival, impoverished Jack tends to his pet cow, Little Red Riding Hood sets out to visit her grandmother, Rapunzel longs to see the world, and a Baker and his wife learn they can’t have children because the Witch from next door put a curse on them. All these characters – and more – go into the woods to make their wishes come true. 

Watershed Public Theatre’s reimagined production of the beloved musical features a talented cast of Middle Tennessee performers directed by Caleb Finley, with music direction by Cheri Hughes and choreography by Naomi Laurent. 

Suitable for most ages (rated PG, some violence and mature themes)
